Paul Hulsenboom

Dr Paul Hulsenboom is a researcher, lecturer, and education developer at the department of Dutch Language and Culture at Radboud University, Nijmegen. He specialises in early modern imagology, as well as cultural and diplomatic contacts between the Dutch Republic and Poland. In his PhD thesis, defended in October 2023, he studies how Dutch and Polish authors, artists, and artisans represented each other during the long seventeenth century. His publications cover Neo-Latin, Dutch, and Polish poetry, translation practices, travel culture, identity and community formation, and book history.
